NeXus Configuration

At DESY, writing of the NeXus files is based on NeXus Writer and Configuration Server. A schematic of the whole process is displayed in Figure 1.4. The Configuration Server provides configuration string via Control Client into NeXus Writer. The NeXus configuration is a composition of components and data sources. The writer fetches the data from the Experimental Control Client, other Tango devices or various databases and store them into a file system.
