News: FS-EC Service; Debian-10upgrade; pyspMonitor update; updated hasyutils, pyspectra, tnggui; Taurus slow (P65)

• FS-EC service for OS, ExpPC support:
  • At most one person per normal office.
  • Home office preferred.
  • At least person of the FS-EC core team at DESY
  • Hot stand-by for Linux support, if the above mentioned person is from Windows
  • Adjust, if necessary

• Debian-10:
  • Debian-10 is ready
  • Tests are ongoing
  • Debian-10 for volunteer
  • one BL after the other: Debian-10 then Tango 9.3 then SardanaPython3

• pyspMonitor.py has been updated:
  • arrows to indicate the current position, setpoint and mvsa target are displayed; condition: only one scan is displayed.

  • mesh scans: SignalCounter output is displayed as an image. More on special MS environment variables can be found here

• hasyutils, pyspectra, tnggui have been updated due to various changes.

• Taurus slow, P65: the problem depends on the application, under investigation. Waiting for tests.

  Possible workaround: TngGui.py. To prevent users from accessing certain motors, it is possible to select motors on the command line:

  $ TngGui.py eh_mot01 eh_mot02
    selects 2 motors
  $ TngGui.py eh_mot0
    selects 9 motors
  

  The pattern is not used for other devices.
