• P06 puppet log files: the real log files are read-able by puppet admins only. However, there are log files about the installed packages, for each host. TK prepared a script to extract the request information. Testing

• P06, Lambda2M NFS issue: occurs sporadically, under investigation, possible fix: sudo script?

• P06, SardanaMonitor should silently connect, even if a macro is running: DONE

• P08, Lambda server stays MOVING while taking a single images at each scan-stop. ongiong.

• P10, Eiger LZ4/BitShuffle compression, AR: the goals are: make data acquisition as fast as possible and make sure that users can analyze the data.
  • hdf5lib is shipped with deflate, used by Lambda, ok for Linux and Windows, Lambda writes raw data, pixel mask and flatfield (if available)

  • EigerXX uses LZ4, optionally LZ4/BitShuffle: IT installed LZ4 without BitShuffle option as an external filter plugin.

    Not fully understood: EigerXX hdf files contain flatfield-corrected images, with some pixel mask magic encoded.

    Questions: how do we make sure that users can analyze their data at their home institutes.

• P10 Eiger: implement 'InitializeEiger' into the tango server. Implemented by TN, needs testing.

• P10, Eiger: check the correct order, FrameTime before CountTime. Under discussion.
