News: SardanaMotorMenu.py upgraded, NeXus writer bug (P06), OmsVme58 to check ZMX (P23), OmsVme58 to throw an exception, if a limit switch was hit

  • Refresh is faster: no refresh, if minimized, invisible widgets are ignored, limit widgets update frequency reduced
  • Selected MacroServer variables
  • Limit switch status are displayed
  • Can be used to find issues: limits (red limit widget), devices not responding ('None')
  • Can cause a clean-up of online.xml

• NeXus writer bug (P06): XIA issue.

• OmsVme58 to check ZMX status (P23): status ongoing

• OmsVme58 to throw an exception, if a limit switch was hit: the exception should be thrown, if a move is terminated by a limit switch contact. Problem: moves are controlled by threads. A thread thowing an exception crashes the server. Not clear, whether there is a workaround.
