• SardanaAIO time-outs, P08, P10: observed many interrupts on haspp08, exchanged the PC keeping the disk, interrupt rate went down, AIO trouble remained, P10 reported the same problem with AIO, changed HasyUtils as a quick fix to force controllers and devices into the pool (many informational messages during AIO), indication for network problems?

• PyMCA taurus connector (P01): fixed, needs testing.

• SardanaMonitor -d bug (P08): fixed.

• After Ctrl-C Sardana gets stuck (P01): status ongoing

• ICS requests (P10, etc.): remember open tabs, use meaningful names, ongoing

• P22 monitors need a power-cycle after they went to sleep: ongoing.

• desktop extensions (P10): not via Firefox, only via Chromium. HB: this is so.

• umv several motors (P10): works on TKs PC.

• SardanaAIO with tags (P03): ongoing.

• SardanaMotorMenu on hasep22ch1: done

• OmsVme58 + ZMX (P22): explained.

• HasyUtils.prepareDetectorAttrs() for PSCameraVHR (P03): implemented, needs testing.

• SardanaMonitor needs restart after cursor has been invoked: could be reproduced, ongoing.

• Data policy: proposals will be deleted 10 years after expiration, 10 years after last beamtime. Consequence: experiment data related to the proposal will be deleted. Applies to DESY co-proposers as well (checked with JPK).

• MacroPath: where to store user-modified macros?

  Current MacroPath:

  • /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/sardana/sardana-macros/DESY_general contains Macros provided by FS-EC

  • /common/p09/sardanaMacros contains Macros maintained by the beamline staff. Beamline accounts have read-only access. To change these Macros, users have to copy them to other directories where they have write-access.

  • /home/p09user/sardanaMacros contains Macros which are editable from beamline accounts.

  • /gpfs/local/sardanaMacros contains Macros which can be maintained from beamline accounts. No backups, not accessible from Maxwell.

  • /bl_documents/sardanaMacros contains Macros which can be maintained from beamline accounts. Two snapshots per day, not accessible from Maxwell.

  AR proposes to replace /gpfs/local (scratch space) by /gpfs/current/shared.
