• direct TINE access. The availability of TINE parameters can be checked independently of Tango.

  The TINE instant client gives access to the system:

  $ /usr/lib/jvm/jdk-8-oracle-x64/jre/bin/javaws \

  You have to select contect, server, etc.:

  Device Context   PETRA
  Device Server    GLOBALS
  Device subsystem ALL
  Device name      keyword
  

  The tget command is another way to check specific parameters:

  $  tget "PETRA/GLOBALS/keyword" BeamCurrent
