News: SardanaAIO, timescan slow, Albola, motor limits out of sync, P65 undulator bug, ZMS monitor

• SardanaAIO: debugging printout has been removed.

• timescan too slow: exp_dmy01,2,3 now faster, velocity: 1000000000, acceleration 0.000001

• Albola will be installed everywhere. However, the integration need to be done for each beamline separatly.

• The what-to-do-if section of the Spock manual is extended by some words about motor limits being out of sync (Tango and Sardana).

• P65 undulator bug: the setPoint of the undulator position (Pool device) was out of limits. This has an effect on scans, not on moves.

  Error messages:

  • Set value for attribute Position is below the minimum authorized.
  • Failed to write_attribute on device motor/tm_undulator/1, attribute position.

  The error occurs when the Harmonic attribute is changed (Tango server). The actual energy value changes and also the limits. However, the setPoints of the Pool device and the Tango server remain as they were.

  Workaround: Move the motor (Tango server and Pool device) to the current read-value. Thereby no actual move is involved.

  It is planned to create a macro which changes the Harmonic and avoids the inconsistency.

• ZMX checker, P10 asked for a tool to check the ZMX status. Ongoing.
