• confluence page for DESY-FS beamline software: a space to distribute information about SW developments at the beamlines can be found here

  The purpose of this page is to let other people know what exists. Some of the products may be ready to use at other beamlines, others may help scientists to develope their own solutions. In any case, it is important to avoid parallel developments or as it is has been stated: "I once heard it said of man that the idea is not to re-invent the wheel again and again".

  Everybody is encouraged to add information. Every entry should consist of a short description about what the application does, a link to detailed documentation and the name of a contact person.

  This space will be re-structured as soon as it becomes necessary.

• DAMC-MOTCTRL (MicroTCA motion controller): hardware ready, firmware development almost finished, test device will be made available to FS within the next weeks.

  Next steps:

  • Write single axis Tango server
  • Make tests
  • Understand the requirements for multi-axis synchronization during fly scans (JG, MT)
  • Implement synchronisation with detectors
  • Develop a support model together with MSK

• BL grafana dashboards: used by several beamlines, new dashboard was prepared for P09, information to be displayed, alarms to be installed, have to be discussed with SS.
