To enable the spock multiline input on Debian-9, launch spock using
spock --simple-prompt or append the
following statement to /home/p99user/.ipython/profile_spockdoor/ipython_config.py:
config.TerminalInteractiveShell.simple_prompt = True
However, switching to simple_prompt disables lots
of useful command line features.
Another option for using multiline spock input is to
precede the commands with a %:
%lsenv %lsmeas
