SIS8800 Class

This class implements a counter reading a channel of a SIS8800 Multi Channel Scaler. pogo_html_docu/SIS8800/index.html See pogo generated info for details.. The SIS8800 is a MicroTCA module.

To connect a timer: invert the DGG2 NIM output then convert it to TTL, feed into the SIS8800 control input 3, terminate it with 50 Ohm. Invert the INHIBIT bit in the software, register 0x102, data += 0x40

Counter inputs are NIM, terminated with 50 Ohm.

Countrol inputs are LVTTL, 4k7 pull-up to 3.3V. Btw. in 4k7 TTL 0 V is interpreted as logical 1.

Countrol outputs are LVTTL.

Device names: /dev/sis8800-0 meaning first board of this kind, /dev/sis8800-s5 meaning board in slot 5.
