Access to data via the $\gamma$-Portal

Entry point for the portal is https://gamma-portal.desy.de

You can log in by your DOOR account.

It allows for browsing beamtimes, downloading and staging of data taken at DESY or data taken at external facilities by DESY staff (assuming sufficient permissions to a dataset).

Figure 1.4: The view 'Browse archive' in the portal. It displays an overview on the datasets in dCache with read permission for the user.

Figure 1.5: A more detailed view on an archived dataset. This view is obtained by a click on the magnifying glass symbol next to a dataset displayed in the 'Browse archive' view. Currently, the dataset may consist of a single or multiple tarballs which can be downloaded or staged (given a valid DESY account) from here.

Figure 1.6: The 'Manage ACL' view in the data portal. . This view is obtained by a click on the editing symbol next to a dataset, column USERs ACLs from the 'Browse archive' view. Depending on the Users role, one can see who else has access to the dataset, who is in charge of the dataset or one can add/remove users friom the list (e.g. User role leader is needed).
