Accessing single files from inside and outside DESY / Staging data

For accessing single files one has to stage the data first via the portal. The staging procedure will extract the tarball to dedicated disc-only space in dCache which can be accessed (read-only) from in- and outside DESY.
In case one has requested data staging via the portal one will receive an email when the staging process has finished. The email is sent to the email address associated to the DOOR account and contains the path where to find the data.
