MDGG8, VME, Wiener

The MDGG8 VME module is a multi-purpose device which we operate as a 2-channel gate generator in timing and preset mode. O8 delivers NIM pulses with a frequency of 1 MHz, after the Tango server has started.

The gates are delivered on O1 and O2 (NIM). Preset counts have to be fed into I1 and I2 (NIM).

VME: A24D32, base adress is 0x100000 (as shipped), Tango Property Base: 1048576), address encoding (A23-SN4, A22-SN3, ..., A19 - SN0, A18 == 0, A17 == 0, A16 == 0). An inserted jumper selects 1.
