Online maintains some symbols that can be used in the scan macros (before-, during- and after-some-name).

The current step width, not valid for regions scans.
$Spectra::SYM np_total
The total number of scan points.
$Spectra::SYM rindex
The current repeat index. Starts at 1.
$Spectra::SYM repeat_total
The total no. of repeats.
$Spectra::SYM repeat_flag
1 for repeated scans, 0 otherwise.

$Spectra::SYM position_setpoint
The actual position and the nominal position.
$Spectra::SYM sample_time
The sample time.
$Spectra::SYM scan_name
The scan name.

The current index, starts at 1, is less or equal np_total.
