Reading GQE files into FID2D

GQEs can be read into FIT2D (A. P. Hammersley, ESRF, www.esrf.fr/computing/expg/subgroups/data_analysis/FIT2D) following this procedure (supplied by J. Homeyer):

• Choose the button 'IMAGE PROCESSING (GENERAL)'
• Click on 'INPUT'
• Click on 'BINARY'
• Enter the dimensions. If you created the image, you'll probably know the dimensions, otherwise call the change (Spectra) menu for the image.
• The same applies for 'Data type'.
• The item 'BYTE NUMBER OF START OF BINARY DATA' has to set to 5045.
