News, 'spikes' in data (P64, P09), Desktop crash (P09), MGs from online.xml, MacroServer issues

• P64, P09, spikes appeared counter readings. Issue is not easy to trace, seems to be related to events, TN made a fix, will be distributed, status: further testing.

• P09, the gnome desktop crashed. MF was able to trace the problem to a restart of the logind, unclear why this caused the desktop crash. MF investigates.

  Possible actions:

  • Wait for the gnome-desktop to start on tis own.
  • Follow the procedure as described here

• MGs defined in online.xml: It is recommended to add arbitrary attributes to the MG as tangoattributectctrl devices, see here

• MacroServer issues: SardanaDiag.py creates now core dumps of the MacroServer and the Pool and the last 1000 lines of the log files.
